Hi,
My brother went into surgery this last Monday for a kidney transplant. This is his second transplant. The first was done 10 years ago and was successful. This time the kidney was a perfect match and he was in very good health. Unfortunatly he suffered a complication which led to removing the kidney 12 hours later. First the doctors told his wife that he coughed during surgery which ruptured the artery. Now the doctors say he woke up a bit and moved which ruptured the artery. He was not given enough antesia to keep him fully under.

Should we pursue legal action? Does this complication happen often? My brother is totally devestated and we just don't know what to do??? Does anyone have some advise?

Please email me at abcd@ecosky.com

Thank you,
Cathie
