Hi gman! I work as a renal dietitian in the capital city of Pakistan. Here we do use urea kinetic modeling through recommended shortcut formulas. Calculations by total body nitrogen detections is normaly not applicable due to a number of socioeconomic reasons even for research purposes. This information is then used to modify dialysis mode and dose, vascular access, nutrition or any related aspect.
