For the record, RenalWEB in no way endorses this product. RenalWEB has no knowledge of the integrity or accuracy of this program.

Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM) programs that are sold in the US must receive 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration. If this program is being given away for free, it does not require a 510(k). However, without a 510(k), the user assumes all risk for using the product.

And I entirely agree - as is noted in the included documention. If anyone has questions about how the program is written, or if they have some comment, please let me know. There is no secret formula it uses, just the DOQI equations on the NKF website. I'm just passing along already published information in a different format. John

I understand why RenalWEB has to print this disclaimer, but I find it so sad that our society has made it so these types of disclaimers are necessary when all this guy was doing was trying to help. Lawyers rule I guess.
