My mother is on dialysis but also suffers a liver disease. Her albumin is 2.3 she needs more protein. They are trying to prepare her for surgery. They told her to keep eating lots of meat. Van I find a list somewhere online with high protein foods and meat. Thank you

I have found a great protein powder called Procell that I use with my patients. You can put it in all foods and drinks both hot and cold. My favorites are applesauce, macaroni and cheese, fruit smoothies or Carnation Instant Breakfast shakes, coffee. You cannot taste it although my dialysis kids say THEY can. I like it MUCH better than all the others I have tried and I have been a renal dietitian for over 15 years. It is wonderful. I have a toll free number where you can get some information about it and some free samples to try: 1-800-638-2870
Oh, by the way, I do not work for this company. I have been looking for a good protein powder for quite some time before I found this one. Hope it helps.

How would you dietitians compare egg white powder and Whey powder with these products?
