Any new ideas on improving the management of nutrition as measured by albumins? Our units population runs low albumins and would like any suggestions others may have for increasing them.

I am not sure if you are a patient or health care professional. According to my experience as a renal dietitian, whenever patients at our dialysis unit stick to the >60 % of HBV protein allowance prescription the change is really obvious. Noncompliance at the same time, also becomes clear in the form of low albumin levels. Nothing new but artificial protein powders and more eggwhites has helped with my patients.
