Help! I found a downloadable program to help patients plan their renal diet but something went wrong and now I can't open it plus I lost the site. Anyone seen this or have an suggestions? (I would even pay for one!)
I think it would be great to have a program that you could plug in the food you eat and get a potassium and phosphorus total. You could easily know "today I had a high phosphorus day, tomorrow I will take it easy." It seems everything I like to eat is either high phosphorus or potassium.

I clicked on referenced site but couldn't find it. Rather than an on-line program, are there any computer programs/cd's that analyze LOTS of food for calories, protein, potassium, phosphorous, sodium, etc. ??
Seems LOTS of folks could use that information (renal, diabetes, heart patients)!
If not a computer program, how about a thorough book that has lists of LOTS of foods with those chemical breakdowns??
thanks all!!

Nutrimaps.com is a great place for patients and hcp's to track phosphorus, potassium, sodium, as well as lab results, weight, and blood pressure. RD's/ HCP's can connect with their patient's over a private and secure environment for free.

www.nutrimaps.com

A renal-specific nutrient tracking website is in the works as we speak. Have a great day!
