Hi:
In all likelihood, the kidney diet is the most important. Your mother's diabetes may well be responsible for the kidney failure and it, in turn, can cause high blood pressure. That's not always the way things go, but it is a possibility. Your mother can ask the dialysis nurses taking care of her or direct specific questions to her nephrologist/doctor.
