I am an ergonomist and I am enquiring about the ergonomic risk factors associated with being a renal dialysis technician. More specifically, what are the notable force (weight, push, pull, lift, etc.), posture (reaching, static postures, gripping, wrist deviations, etc.) and time (duration and frequency) issues. Any information would be appreciated.

In general, what areas of the job do you find most difficult? What would you change?

Also, could anyone direct me to literature (electronic or otherwise) regarding ergonomics and renal dialysis.

Thank you in advance.
