I have been given information that a patient should not gain more than 3% of his/her dry weight, between treatments..... anything above this is fluid weight. Is the accurate information?

What I have been told, also, is that the weight on last visit is subtracted from the next visit to see how much weight gained between visits.. then there is .3 added for rinseback...

which is a better way to determine amount of fluid to be taken off? also,,, on the second part, the patient complaints are always taken into account.. ie any problems when leaving dialysis.. i.e post hypotension..? any ideas? thakns
