I have been having Venofer I.V Iron for over 20 months now without problems and I had my dose given at home the other day as I am on home heamo and I had an allergic reaction for the first time. Has anyone else ever heard of this just suddenly happening?. I could hardly breathe and my B.P went to 220/120 150 pulse. I had to have various drugs to calm everything down. The injection was given an hour into dialysis as recommended and it was all the same as before.
