I have been on dialysis in San Diego for almost 3 years. I had an accident at work (I was electrocuted) which completely shut down my kidneys. I have been fighting this entire time with my doctor who continually wants me to reduce my food intake otherwise known as starving myself!

Then on top of all the medications I am taking, he insists that I consume a nasty medication call renegel. I am now on 6 capsules per meal and they don't work.

I searched for another medication that can take care of my phospherous and I have finally found one that works and allows me to eat! For the past 6 mths, my phospherous has been great! I had to fight the doctor to allow me to take this medication (he said it was too new) however, I did my own research and told him it was either fosrenal or nothing!

If you are taking a binder that doesn't work there are alternatives!
