I am interested in Dialysis Facilities HCV Testing Practices for patients, staff and isolation practices. If you can share your units practices it will be appreciated as I am writing new procedures and policies.

Save yourself some grief. Go to the CDC and adopt their reccomendations. Isolation of Hep C patients would certainly make your life interesting.

our unit test monthly for HEPs, if a patient is positive we bleach the machine after his treatment. same goes with new patients. Till we get the labs, we bleach after.
