It's nice our government is concerned about our safety. I am happy to see this. I personally have never had a needlestick, but I have a dear friend who did. She is now Hepatitis C positive and on disabilty. Hers is not an isolated case. It only takes one unfortunate mishap...and your life can be tragically, irreversably changed forever.

I applaude the US Congress and look forward to President Clinton signing this bill.
