Hi Old School:

I agree, I had hoped pre stringing/lining had disappeared, however it appears to be making a comeback.....!

Does anyone have data to show it is safe or unsafe?

Are many units carrying this out in North America / Europe?

Can people share their experiences on this?

Many thanks,

Gaoth

I would like to hear some more input on this issue. What are the policies on this with the 5 big providers.

How much time can you save doing this? Is it worth it when there is a chance for the housekeeping crue contaminating the bloodlines? I do not think it is worth it!

Most manufactures (i.e., Medisystems)have a policy against such practices. Check the documentation that comes with every case of bloodlines. Asepsis techniques are difficult to warrent when these bloodlines have sat over night, or longer.

Goodluck with all your endeavors.
