Does marijuana and other 'recreational' drugs, as well as more intense drugs like heroine, get flushed out through dialysis? Or does the high and/or other effects get intensified as the blood is leaving the body and returning at a rapid rate?

Some of the patients at my clinic partake in said activities and it got me wondering...

Maryum, some do, some don't. Depends on lots of things, fat soluble, water soluble, molecular size, etc. Hopefully, if you are a nurse, you already knew that.
