How long has your clinic been under the new corporation? My clinic was RCG also and so far, under this new company people who are underneath us (those with zero experience) have been promoted to the same level as we who have 5 years or more of experience and we are expected to train them to do our jobs. Jobs that nobody trained us for, we all had to just figure it out ourselves. This is a craft, a semi-skilled profession.
This isn't bragging, it's reality. I have suffered and more than paid my dues over ten years in this business. I knew overtime would be cut by the new owner, they've always been strict on it but I do expect better treatment of those who have earned it. If we all left and let the newly-promoted people take over, the clinics would go to crap within a day or two, that's no exaggeration.

technik and chris - you haven't seen nothing yet with the new corporation. That new corporation does not recognize experieince as valuable; not at all. And you will be expected - no mandated - to train that less than experienced staff with a smile on your face and no monetary compensation for your experience AT ALL. Else you will be berated from your AM as "not a team player - or better yet, "you're already well paid". That new corporation taking over those RCG clinic - hint, not DCI - has been really changing over the past year or so. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk. They post great 3rd quarter profits, however. I've worked there 17 years and in 2007 I am OUT!

Chris9860, Two questions: What may I ask is your support (duties) status? Are there other dialysis providers within a resonable distance? I only ask, because it may behoove you to relocate.
