Which offers a more flexible work schedule - chronic or acutes?
For childcare reasons, I am looking for a more free day as my spouse works very early hours as well (not in dialysis)
I'm told acutes is more one-on-one, yet more demanding of time... why would that be?

In acutes you are always on call; chronics have a more set work schedule and you are more apt to have a set schedules, say working 12 hours/daily x 3. Being on call is a pain in the butt. Trust me, been there done that.
