Does anyone have any suggestions on where we might find a medical expert witness for a wrongful death suit against the Dr? We are in Virginia and having a hard time finding one. As you all know, we cannot file suit until we find one. Thanks

I assume your case is related to dialysis? I will look and try to put you in touch with someone. It may be the week of the 14th before I can get back to you. When did the case occur (approximately)? You have a 2 year time period to file.

We would like to file a case as well. Ours is not a wrongful death suit, but more of medical neglect, unprofessional treatment/harassment etc. Can you also find out what the statute of limitations is for something like this? Any other advice on suing ones doctor, offending RNs/techs, company? I never had any inclination to sue someone in my life, but I really believe those responsible for medical neglect/harassment must be stopped. Thank you.

Call this number and ask if they will put you in touch with a legal nurse consultant in your area with a dialysis specialty.
800-880-0944.
The LNC will be able to talk with your attorney and assist in reviewing your case and finding testifying experts.
