I HAVE BEEN WONDERING ABOUT APPLYING FOR A JOB WITH DIALYSIS AT SEA, BUT I WOULD LIKE SOME BACKGROUND INFO ON IT. HAS ANYONE EVER WORKED FOR THEM? HOW OFTEN DO YOU TAKE THE CRUISES? HOW MUCH DOES THE PAY START OUT? JUST A FEW BASIC QUESTIONS. THANKS AGAIN

A nurse I worked with a few years ago did this. Not sure if it's the same every time, but she said that you only did dialysis for a few hours on the mornings that you were at sea, then had the rest of the day off. On the days the ship was in port, the patients didn't dialyze so she had the day off as well to see the sights.

She did say that she had to be on call 24/7.
