My father is 92 years old, his health is not too good (walks badly, his heart is bad, memory almost nul). He was told that he needs dialysis 3 times a week four hours every time. Is it advisable to comit him to dialysis?

I think the answer will be if your father thinks it is worth it. And he probably won't be able to make that decision until he tries. Does he have the will to go on or is he ready let go.

My father is 78 and doing well on slow nocturnal diaysis but I think he has reached a point that if things go bad he is ready to quit.
