please my renal family tell me does the job market expand once you beome certified my salary is low after 5yrs. And has anyone taken the test more than once or twice. A cry 4 some answers this job should pay more than 20,000.
You must pass the test and get certified. As far as pay, please I work for the big F and have over 20 years. I am still not at top pay. It is a manager that will not let you get there. Look at the profits for their quarters. Got a watch for X-mas with the company logo on it. If you don't love what you do. This is a tough field. Good Luck to you!!
I am amazed at the lack of interest or the lack of knowledge that many technicians are displaying at the new requirements for certification. All of the certification examinations are now being updated and you must pass before the deadline in 2010 or you will not be a Dialysis Technician.BUT...maybe it's a good thing, the strong survive and thrive and the weak leave the field, then perhaps the pay will increase for those of you are underpaid.Get off your duff and stop waiting for a Nurse to direct your path and become proactive and take the examination NOW...
