Which department in your country is involved in doing the renal dialysis water sampling? Is it the nurses or the public health or technicians?

Here in South Africa it differs between private and government run units. In private either the technologists or nurse managers take the samples.

In state institutions it is usually the technologists or the technical maintenance, but it really goes about who received some training.

It's not such a big/tedious job, so when it's sampling time no one really puts up a fuss if they have to do it.

Here in the U.S. it is always the technical department. Everywhere I have worked it is always the biomeds responsiblity.
