In performing recircs and ABFs in our clinic, there is discussion on cardiopulmonary recirc being a factor or being deleted from equations to get accurate measurements. What is really meant by cardiopulmonary recirc in a pt? and what perecent of blood is involved? does it vary from pt to pt? I am interested in anyone's opinion Thanks!
