Hi,
Could anyone give me some background information on the Gambro Blood Volume Sensor please.
My main questions are:
1/Do Gambro make any claims in their I.F.U. as to the accuracy of the blood tubing set supplied for use on the machine.
2/Do Gambro make any claims as to the accuracy of the BVS on the machine.
3/Do you have to calibrate the machine from a lab.result to achieve the stated accuracies.
4/Has anyone tried using a 3rd party supplier of the tubing set with any success.
Any other information along similar lines would be very welcome.
Best regards,
SeePee

SeePee,
My understanding is that the Gambro Blood Volume sensor has not yet been approved by the FDA, and is not currently in use in the USA. Have you been using it?

Hi Diana,
I wondered why I haven't had a single reply to my question on either this or the technicians forum.
I'm not actually in the US but in the EU and I can't get any answers over here either.
We want to investigate alternatives to the Gambro manufactured tubing set but can't get any info.
