I am wondering if there are any dialysis patients out there who currently take or have ever taken glucosamine and chondroitin. I have erosive osteoarthitis in my hands and would very much like to find something that would halt its progressive nature. These drugs were suggested by a nephrologist who has no information on their use in kidney patients. I am currently on peritoneal dialysis....have been a renal patient for 19 years. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
