I am a newbie so a little guidance, please. My father started dialysis about 3 months ago. His reports always show Creatinine - HI, CHr-HI, Glucose usually HI. He is diabetic, and always very week, dizzy, anemic like. Do they really analyse the reports or do they check 4 or 5 things only? My mom says he needs to adjust to the treatments and start to exercise more? I disagree but don't know what is normal.

It does take some time to get use to dialysis. However, you or your parents should track lab results. Creatinine will be high, that is why your dad is on dialysis. Does his nephrologist know he is diabetic? Your dad's diabetes doctor and nephrologist need to work together to keep that under control. I always ask for a copy of my results so that I can keep track of them myself. Then if I notice changes I ask questions.
