<Kidney girl requires help>

Hello there. I am wondering if anyone knows of any advances in treating calcification. I am completely calcified from chest to pelvis and have ben refused transplantation because of it. This would be number 3 as my last two were not sucessful. I understand it is difficult to treat but ANYTHING would be worth trying. I have just been changed to Renagel after seeing a new specialist who says I was loaded with it. It is only through seeing the transplant surgeon I realised how much. My serum calcium is now within normal range-the first time in 3+ years. I never knew it wasn't normal and feel this may have a contributing factor to the calcification. I had a parathyroidectomy 2 years ago following the discovery of this but my calcium did not go down within normal range. Thanking you in advance for any help!

To my knowledge there is no treatment for calciphylaxis just preventing more from occuring. I've heard it can be quite painful. Good luck!
