Hi Jim:
Very interesting. What blood flow rate would they be able to achive, assuming they are using the same access? And why only for people over 100 kg? Would be interested in hearing more about tests. Meanwhile, all the best on expected transplant. Sincerely, Mike |

Howdy Everyone
An interesting little tid bit. I was taking to one of the guys on the dual dialyzer treatment and he was saying he was having problems with blood coagulation too quickly. The Dialyzers were set up in series. By the time it had reached the second dialyzer it was clotting. The staff has to give him a steady stream of porcine to keep it going. They are thinking the parrellel set up will be better. I don't know about blood flow, I will have to check. Thanks jim jrickel@fusionone.com |
