My dad is currently on dialysis. He has been for about 5 years.He just told us last year. He lives in another state and does not talk to me or my sister much about what goes on. He is not very close to me or my sister, but we do call and visit. I would just like a better understanding. He is 48. He is currently not following doctor's orders and has been told that if he continues this way that he may have one year of life left. However, if he will follow orders he will have 5-10 years. If anyone can give me some insight I would be grateful!
