Would like to hear from any patients who take renagel as a binder and have experienced low CO2 (lower than 22). This is very important. You may be in a state of metabolic acidosis, which can cause muscle loss, heart damage, and a direct rise in potassium levels. Please respond even if you take renagel and have seen no change in CO2.
