Howdy
When i was on dialysis i had very similar BP results. If you dont mind me asking, "is your pulse high too?" If it is a dose of lopressor may do the trick. I night time dose of lopressor got my diastolic down to acceptible levels and reduced my pulse rate. The doctors had no mention of my heart being abnormal. Hope that helps jim |

Thank for your reply, Jim
My pulse rate is about 60-80 time/min. I've hemodialysis for 3 year. my blood pressure is going to rise. sometime between dialysis I have chestpain when my systolic pressure is high. My doctor told me there's no drug that control only systolic pressure. He affraid if I take moro drug my BP might be drop. |

Hi Vanda:
For almost 25 years before I went on dialysis, I was on medication for very high blood pressure. It came down somewhat during the period on dialysis, but was never normal. During dialysis, my heart was tested and I was told all was OK. Your figures are high, but doctors are more concerned with dropping levels while on dialysis. How often do you monitor your BP? Only at dialysis sessions? You might want to keep a record at home over time and see if there is any connection between dialysis visits and incresed BPs. Best, Mike |
