What do you do when your physician does not believe in the DOQI guidelines for the Gold Standard of care??? When his KT/V for his patients are going down and the NEtworks are beating Down your Back... The physician practices on how his patients feel and not on there lab results. Very frustrated....I have tried to work with the person and they are set in their ways....Help

If your doctor is dis-regarding what would be considered sound medical practices you may do several things. Fire him form your employ. If you can not do that, you can get a lawyer and sue ( rather a poor solution, but one nonetheless) or you can find advocacy and have someone advocate for you with this Dr.(see:dialysisethics.org)
It is unforgivable that some Dr.s seem to have forgotten how to give just good clean medical care!!
