We are a Critical Access Hospital in Rural Colorado. THe nearest dialsyis center in 170 miles away. We have identified about a dozen people in our servcie area who make this trip three times a week for their tretment. Currently we know little of what it would take to provide this service locally, but would like to investigate. Can anyone provide a good resource to answer the questions such as sq. ft needed per unit, special needs (ie power and water), staffing requirements / unit, physician oversight, etc. Anything would be helpful.
