I am starting an Ask the Experts series which will feature speakers by conference call to discuss issues related to dialysis facility operations, administration and management. The forum will be by live teleconference. Participants will call into a telephone number at a given time and there will be a chance to interact, have discussions around these areas and ask questions. I am seeking information and help in several areas. 1. I am looking for people who would like to serve on my R&D team to launch this free service and help with fine tuning it to the needs of the community. 2. I would like to know what topics would be of interest to users of Renal Web. 3. Do you know of an expert in an area you would like to recommend as a speaker/call expert? The plan is to start in late October with an offering exploring issues regarding nursing home/subacute placement of dialysis patients and other issues facing dialysis facility leadership in this area. What are your thoughts on this? If you would like to participate on any of the levels described please email: onelyte@earthlink.net with discussion group in the subject line.

What a great idea! How about a similar set up where you'd have a panel of Renal experts so patients could call in and get their tx questions answered. The problem is, I have spoken with numerous dialysis staff who come off as "Experts", but when I ask them my questions they can't seem to provide knowledgeable answers. So for something like this, if you could locate true "Professionals", I would love to participate!

I think this would be a benificial program for those with access. I would like to see both Technical and Nursing represented here. I have spoken with a Technical colleage and thought he would be interested in participating. He has been a speaker on national and local meetings. He can be reached at (714) 771-8944, Danilo Concepcion.
Due to some confusion that has arisen, RenalWEB would like to clarify that it has no knowledge of this "experts panel", its sponsors, or who "kvis" is.
Again, this project has not been discussed with RenalWEB.
