Can anyone help me with the new monthly dialysis procedure codes? Medicare has gone to the new "G" codes and TMHP pays the crossover claim, but if the patient only has TMHP, they are not. TMHP says they do not have the "G" code in their system. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

TMHP 2004 HCPCS Special Bulletin for Texas Medicaid Providers, No. 180, page 13. RENAL DIALYSIS PROVIDERS: "The CMS has created separate temporary G codes that describe procedures or services for patients under dialysis care. These codes should not be used to bill the Medicaid program. Medicaid providers should continue to use the 090XX codes for dialysis care."
