I am a PCT looking to get out of the "routine" work of dialysis techdom, possibly nursing or bio-med and will likely go back to school.

Does anyone happen to know if dialysis companies offer tuition reimbursement for courses job-related? I'm getting mixed answers from people I've asked -- yes, no, 100%, 50%, "...but you need to sign a 2-year working contract," etc.

Sergei,

My company pays 100% for nursing with a contract and 50% for anything else credited with no strings attached.

Fresenius does.
I know two PCT's who went schooling and are now full time nurses.
A dialysis assistant told me our manager was aware of his schooling (got A grades) and definitely will be reimbursed.

I'm pretty sure Fresenius pays 100% for nursing, and 80% for anything that you can reasonably link to the company, such as accounting, biomed, or even IT.
