October 25, 2001 - A legal dispute between two Nashville business executives, one being the CEO of National Nephrology Associates (NNA), has expanded to include accusations that relate to the terrorist attacks of September 11. Here is the story from the Tennessean.com.

September 28, 2001 - The Nashville Business Journal has a substantial article on the rapid growth of National Nephrology Associates (NNA), which now owns approximately 70 dialysis centers.

Here is an excerpt from the article:
"I know this sounds bizarre, but after spending 25 years in the business, we have never met with a nephrologist that we weren't one person away from knowing. If there's one trick to the business, that's been ours," says Harrison, executive vice president of mergers and acquisitions for National Nephrology Associates, commonly called NNA."

August 14, 2001 - Some news about new dialysis facilities:
National Nephrology Associates (NNA) is planning to open a 12-station dialysis clinic in Portland.

Satellite Dialysis has opened a new dialysis center in Sunnyvale, California with a capacity of 150 dialysis patients.
