September 6, 2002 - The director of (NYC) Mount Sinai hospital's suspended live donor liver transplant program has stepped down, a week after the program was fined for 41 patient care violations, the hospital said. Story from AP/Yahoo.
April 1, 2002 - A patient at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City who was a living donor for his brother for a partial liver transplant died three days after surgery in January of this year.
