Baxter Healthcare is implementing a web-based intranet human resources service for its employees.

This is the one of the many uses of the internet that major dialysis companies will be implementing. Other uses include on-line training for employees and the development of an "extranet", which provides services to selective "outsiders" such as patients and health care professionals.

Industry Week magazine released their annual listing of the "The World's 100 Best Managed Companies". Baxter was included on the list for the second time in four years.

Baxter was also included on a recent listing of the Top 80 Leading/Most Active New Medical Products Manufacturers.
