August 23, 2000 - The staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston performed an historic transplant last week, simultaneously staging four implant operations within a four-hour window.

July 11, 2000 - The July 17 issue of US News contains their annual ratings of the best hospitals in the US. For the first time, kidney disease is included as one of the medical specialties covered in the report.
