February 9, 2007 - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has posted the safety related drug labeling changes for the month of December 2006 on the MedWatch web site.

Two views are provided for December 2006 updates: Medication(s) with labeling changes that have potential effects for renal patients:
  • Diskets Dispersible Tablets (methadone hydrochloride tablets, USP)
  • Trasylol (aprotinin injection)


Two views are provided for November 2006 updates: Medication(s) with labeling changes that have potential effects for renal patients:
  • Dolophine Hydrochloride (methadone hydrochloride tablets, USP)
  • Diovan (valsartan)


December 21, 2006 - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has posted the safety related drug labeling changes for the month of October 2006 on the MedWatch web site.

Two views are provided for October 2006 updates: Medication(s) with labeling changes that have potential effects for renal patients:
  • Coumadin (warfarin)
  • Opana (oxymorphone hydrochloride)
  • Vicoprofen (hydrocodone bitartrate and ibuprofen tablets
  • Hep-Lock (heparin lock flush solution)
  • Rapamune (sirolimus)
  • Avastin (bevacizumab) for Intravenous Use
