(August 15) Total Renal Care (TRC) appears to be entering the Japanese dialysis services market.

(August 24)TRC filed suit against anonymous internet posters who TRC believes are manipulating the stock price.

Here is the Yahoo Finance Message Board where the offending messages were posted. Some of the parties named in the suit are already apologizing.

TRC's CEO and CFO resigned July 18th after the company failed to meet expected earnings for the second quarter.

Total Renal Care is tied with Gambro as the second largest provider of dialysis services in the world. Both companies care for approximately 43,000 patients in their dialysis facilities. Fresenius is the largest with approximately 76,000.
