An article appearing in the July 10th issue of the British journal The Lancet shows that young dialysis patients have an <font color="#0000FF">increased risk of cancer</font>.<br /><br />While no conclusion is drawn as to the cause of the increased risk, the authors state that they believe it is due to kidney failure and not dialysis treatments. <br /><br />Here is a "Letter to the Editor" about the <font color="#0000FF">risks of plastics</font> by the Executive Director of the American Public Health Association that appeared in the Washington Post.<br /><br />Recently, the environmental group Health Care Without Harm petitioned the FDA to investigate <font color="#0000FF">PVC IV bags for solutions</font>. <br /><br /><br /><br />[This message has been edited by Gary Peterson (edited 07-12-99).]
