Recent studies have brought the news that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). It is apparent that nephrology care providers must focus more attention and effort on coronary disease issues. Towards that end, RenalWEB will begin providing increased coverage on this important topic.

The 50th Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Cardiology is meeting this week in Orlando.

March 15, 2001 - CardioDynamics International Corporation announced a pilot program to enhance the cardiac care of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients using BioZ's Impedance Cardiography (ICG) technology .

The pilot program is a joint project between CardioDynamics and the Heart-Lung Associates of America (HLAA).
