Administrator's Note: This message and the follow-up below are an example of an individual posting an anonymous message and then logging on later to post a supporting message of their first posting - again done anonymously. This is obvious from the IP addresses at the bottom of the messages. There is a group that routinely uses this tactic to give the impression of widespread support for personal agendas. Convienently, they do not display IP addresses in order to "protect" their posters.
Hemodialysis units, which use large amounts of purifed water and require access to the patients' bloodstreams, must use disinfectants and sterilants, whether they reuse dialyzers or not. If they did not, hundreds of patients and staff would be harmed or killed every day. Obviously, these chemicals must be used carefully.
An individual who posts messages about staff errors and then posts anonymous "supporting" messages that promote their personal agendas is not doing a service for the dialysis patient community. It is a disservice and is dishonest.
As always, I expect anonymous, taunting, name-calling and accusations to follow on their web site. Private e-mail messages I have sent to them have been posted on their web site. That is the level this group operates on.
Internet records for that group's web site have Scott Brumley, CPA, 2109 S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28203, listed as the administrative contact. - Gary Peterson, RenalWEB.
