Do people on home hemo and nocturnal record their tx data?

My husband has been on tradtional 3x/week home hemo for many years. Yes, we record all info, just like in-center. This includes pre and post wgts, pre and post vital signs, amount of saline given (if any--we dump our prime), periodic B/Ps during the treatment, lenth of run, blood pump speed, arterial and venous pressures, etc. Monthly, we send just the basics in to our "home" unit. They, in turn, use this for billing, etc.

As Dez says, we record everything. It is another example of taking responsibility for our own care.
However, here, in Australia, it is not the basis of payment. All our costs are borne by the government. |

In our nocturnal program we record at the beginning of treatment and at the end as we sleep through the treatment. However our machine is hooked to a computer at the center and venous pressures, etc. are recorded via the computer through the night.
