How do you know how much fluid to remove each tx with nocturnal dialysis? What if you set the goal too high?

Also, how much fluid can you drink per day with nocturnal dialysis? I've heard there are no fluid limits, but I would think there would have to be or one would fill up his lungs.

There usually is no fluid limit for patients unless you are the type to just drink, drink, drink. You have to consider on 3x a week your fluid builds up for 2 days between tx. On nocturnal you remove each night what you drank that day. You know how much fluid to remove because you weigh yourself before the treatment and go down to your dryweight amount just as you do in-center. I can't answer the question about setting your goal to high because I have never done that. After a short time you get used to what the goal is set at so an amount out of the range would make you take notice that you probably made an error and set the goal to high.
