Patients interested in doing daily dialysis in WNY now have the opportunity. This will be very helpful to the rural areas surrounding Buffalo as patients often have to travel an hr. just to reach a clinic and the clinics are often full and they have to travel to Buffalo or Rochester just to get in-center treatment.

Niagara Renal Center, in Niagara Falls, NY offers daily home hemo dialysis. This is the only center in WNY which offer a program so patients can do hemo dialysis at home. So the opportunity I am referring to is daily home hemo dialysis.

One machine for home hemo us the NxStage System 1 (nxstage.com). I use it and it is portable and covered by insuraance.
