Slow nocturnal is not readily available in the U.S. at this time. However, there are a few programs scattered around. Depends on where you live.

My father is on slow nocturnal he used to consistantly crash on in-center treatments. We have been on slow nocturnal 1 1/2 years with out any crashing.

We live 5 hours away from our center. You are taught how to run the machine and what to do.

Our machine is monitored by the center via computer. We call in each night as we are ready to get on. A tech then watches the machine readings. If the machine alarms and we don't resolve the problem in 3 or 4 minutes they will call us and give us instructions. If we have a situation where we know we are going to need advice we just call in. Someone is there to monitor the patients from 9pm to 7am. A nurse is always on call. We have never had a problem of getting assistance right away.

Hope this helps.
