Harlow,

That's a big accusation. Can you tell us more about this "law suit" that has been filed?

I did not accuse anyone of any thing. The law suit as filed has to do with a machine malfunction at night .And alledgedly resulted in a death of Pt. Harlow

Are you talking about the machine that caught on fire?

The race on portable lightweight dialysis machines for home use is on the rise and Nxstage indeed are probably the first in reaching national success.
Checkout some home made videos on the use of Nxstage at http://www.dailyhemo.org

Other interesting companies that are making home dialysis machines include
http://www.renalsolutionsinc.com/

Can you think of any others?

HI:

Can you provide any additional information, Harlow?

Although I live in Canada (arguably not as litigous as the US), I find the reason for slow growth in home dialysis is the number of patients either willing or able to take on the task.

I was on home dialysis myself for three years and have not heard of any incidents that would lead to a suit, but would be interested to hear more.

Thanks.

Michael
